Hi guys, yes I’m the one you met at Nürburgring a few weeks ago.
No casualty other than the poor animal it was killed instantly. I was in a straight line but there was no time to react, he jumped from the bank on the left straight in the middle of my nose cone.
The car didn’t even slow down from the impact, I was even surprised to see the deformation of the nose cone before getting out of the car.
We didn’t feel anything, and had to time to worry, it was over before we could realize anything. You drive leisurly and the next thing is the head of a kangaroo between the bonnet and headlight.
The car is fully insured, I won’t have anything to pay at all.
As we were planning on a trip to the Vosges area in France, and the Schwarzwald as well from May 1st to 4th, I had to rent a MX5

Good thing is, as you mentioned, that (apart from the animal) nobody got hurt and that it seems the Seven might be back in shape in the near future

As of today, I’d be surprised for my car to be ready that soon, even if it’s just a radiator and maybe a wishbone, the parts don’t seem available at Caterham, I don’t know what kind of delay I should expect.

thanks! I will look into those alternative sources if I see that the factory is not able to provide us with a solution in a reasonable time - I’ve just sent a copy of all the car documents and invoices to the insurance expert, fingers crossed
