Mal ne frage . Was haltet ihr von Chip Tunning ? Hinter Münster ist eine Firma die bietet das für caterham 275 an mit Einstellung und Garantie , auch für Motor
Geht es um Chip-Tuning im engeren Sinn oder wird das alte Steuergerät umprogrammiert oder wird ein neues frei programmierbares Steuergerät eingebaut?
Von welcher Leistungsoptimierung wird hier gesprochen ?
Welche Garantie wird denn gegeben?

Naja, es muss ja einen Preis und eine Aussage geben, was der Preis bringt …
Die Frage, die sich mir stellt, ist das Tuning, oder Optimierung an die gesetzlich erlaubt Obergrenze …?
Ich hab mir die Seite mal angesehen. Da hat jemand die Fahrzeugdatenbank von Mobile.de oder sont wo her genommen und einen ‘Konfigurator’ gebaut, der behauptet, man kann aus Auto X Leistung +Y rausholen. Diese Seiten gibts wie Sand am Meer, und auch nicht nur für Leistungssteigerung. Ich will jetzt nicht despektierlich sein, aber so was nennt man Manta-Köder… 
Und mal ganz ehrlich, 10PS für 700€ ? Pffft. Isst man halt ne Grillwurst weniger.
Ein Spezialist für ‘Caterham-Leistungsoptimierung’ ist das ganz sicher nicht.

Jubu : 4500 zzügl MWSt und 15 -20 ps . !!

Kfz-Techniker bin ich ja auch nicht, hatte mich nur mal Ne Zeit mit dem Thema befasst.
Man sollte den Herstellern nicht unterstellen, sie seien einfach blöde und jede Garage könnte mit ein paar Klicks mehe Leistung generieren. Unsere Motoren sind alle schon mal Leistungsoptimiert. Da müssen zur weiteren Leistungssteigerung dann auch mal neue Teile her. Das wird dann halt teuer (z B. Jubu 4500€ überrascht mich nicht mehr), verkürzt aber dennoch auch die Laufleistung des Motors.
Thomas Hinweis auf die Currywürste scheint mir der vernüftigste Tipp zu besserer Beschleunigung zu sein.

Wenn wir hier über einen Saugmotor reden, sind 50 % mehr sicher nicht drin.
Einen Motor durch Software zu optimieren kann heißen, die Serienstreuung durch Feinabstimmung zu verbessern. Das Zweite könnte sein, die Kompromisse in Bezug auf schadstoffarm in Richtung max. Leistung zu verändern. Das wars. Ob man dafür nun sein Geld ausgeben soll 
Dann schon lieber zum seriösen Tuner
JUBU ist absolut realistisch, wenn man auf konventionelles Tuning aus ist 
. Man muss sich halt überlegen was man will, wenn man mehr Leistung will, hat man bei Caterham aktuell ja die Wahl zwischen dem oben beschriebenen Tuning oder man macht ein Upgrade innerhalb der Familie: zB. aktuelles Fahrzeug verkaufen (zum aktuell guten Kurs) und zB. einen 340er gebraucht oder neu kaufen und gut ist

I’ve had the opportunity to look into that subject and change my ECU for a SCS-Delta.
Chip tuning means reading the binary content of the memory chip of the original ECU, and guessing which part of the binary is related to injection and ignition maps. The map is tuned a bit and a new version of the memory content is written to the ECU chip.
For what I can tell the ECU on the 275 is identical to the one on the 170. It needs soldering wires to main board.
Replacing the ECU for a more flexible one let’s any parameter be tuned with a click in a nice graphical interface. With a fine tuning on the dyno.
In my opinion the first thing to do on the 275 is the addition of the ‘310’ kit, I think camshafts are replaced.
The most extreme 275 I know about (and have driven) has had a compressor kit from Jubu and develops 190 hp

Good morning Andy. Yes once set up it’s plug and play, I can change my ECU back to the original in just a few minutes.
The installation and tuning has to be done by a specialist of course.
Mine was installed and configured by MH7 engineering, very knowledgeable and nice guy. He also had my turbo modified quite a bit at the same time. https://www.mh7-engineering.be/
But again, on a 275 the first upgrade is probably to move it up to the 310 specification, then the ECU

Habe das Power Upgrade schon ab Werk verbaut. (310)
die ECU ist aber auf Euro 6 abgestimmt.
daher suche ich nach einer Alternative.
Hatte bei Jubu angefragt, ob man die Original ECU Mappen kann.
Leider geht das nicht. die können nur Vorhandene Fils aufspielen.
Weiß du ob MH-7 schon mal einen 275 Umgebaut haben.

Hello, I don’t know if he has worked on a 275 or not, but as far as I know the current ECU is the same for the 275 and 170.
The question is what can really be extracted from an atmospheric engine with another ECU. I assume the mix can be made a bit richer at high rev 
I would personally ask House of Speed (also in Belgium) what can be done to the 1600 sigma once it has already gotten the 310 kit
